Whether you have a single rare book or drawing, a private library, an inherited collection or an archive assembled over many years, send us a few photographs and whatever you know about it. Our specialists will take an initial look and advise you on value and the best way to proceed.
Every consignment is considered individually. Once we have examined your property, we recommend the most appropriate route to market—offering it through the Exchange, including it in one of our curated auctions, or introducing it privately to collectors we know may be interested. Our aim is not simply to put something up for sale, but to find the right audience for it.

Once consigned, we take care of everything. We arrange collection where required and handle research, valuation, cataloguing, photography, presentation, marketing, enquiries, payment and delivery to the buyer. You remain informed throughout, without having to manage the practicalities of selling yourself.
Our interests range from rare books, first editions and fine bindings to prints, drawings, manuscripts, letters, photographs, maps, ephemera and complete collections. If you are unsure whether something is suitable, we would still be pleased to see it. There is no obligation to sell, and the simplest place to start is with a few photographs.
