AUCTIONS
Auctions at the Bruton Book Exchange are carefully considered sales of rare books and works on paper. Each brings together objects chosen for their quality, rarity and interest, whether drawn from a single collection or gathered around a particular artist, subject or idea.
We favour focused auctions in which every lot deserves attention. Books, prints, drawings, manuscripts, photographs and ephemera are examined, researched, catalogued and photographed by us, with condition reports and further information available to help you bid with confidence.

Bidding takes place online, with selected sales available to view in Bruton before the auction closes. Register with the Exchange to follow lots, leave bids and take part from wherever you are. Estimates, bidding information, buyer’s charges and delivery arrangements are clearly set out with each sale.
Our auction calendar changes throughout the year as collections and individual works come to us. If you are considering selling at auction, we would be pleased to hear from you. From an initial valuation to cataloguing, photography, marketing, sale and delivery, we take care of the entire process.
