The Exchange brings together rare books and works on paper chosen for their quality, rarity, beauty and interest. From first editions and manuscripts to prints, drawings, photographs and ephemera, each piece is selected individually rather than simply listed for sale.
Every object is examined, researched, catalogued and photographed by us before it appears here. We describe what we find clearly and carefully, including provenance and condition where known, so that buying online can feel as considered and informed as handling the object in person.
